Corporate Services
The Corporate Services Department is the portal of entry and exit from the Municipality and supports the functions of all the other departments in the Municipality. The Department provides support services and generally ensures that all administrative functions of the Municipality are properly coordinated. The department's objective is to ensure that the administrative affairs of this council and administration are of a high standard. The department is split in the following five main sub-function and reports as per outlined indicators on monthly and quarterly basis.

CORPORATE SERVICES
Purpose: To provide administration and management support services
- Manage human resources management services.
- Manage council support and records management Services
- Manage Information and Communication Technological Services
- Manage training and development services of the municipality
Divisions
INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY SERVICES
Purpose: To manage the provision of information communications technology services
- Manage network access and usage
- Manage and coordinate Information Technology infrastructure support and operations
- Manage and oversee ICT security and governance.
- Install and maintain ICT systems security, data integrity and information security and backup
LEGAL SERVICES
Purpose: To manage the provision of legal advisory services to the Municipality
- Provide sound legal advice and opinion to Council and Management.
- Handle litigation advisory services.
- Provide advisory support on drafting of policies and by-laws.
COUNCIL ADMINISTRATION
Purpose: To manage Council support, records management, and auxiliary services to the municipality.
- Provide secretariat services to the Council and Council committees.
- Provide Council oversight support.
- Manage knowledge and records management services and provide messenger services
- Coordinate cleaning and auxiliary services
HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT
Purpose: To provide effective and efficient human resources support services and promote sound labour relations.
- Conduct and review Organizational Design processes
- Facilitate the development and review of Job Descriptions
- Manage employee health and safety.
- Provide Human Resource Administration.
- Provide Recruitment, and Selection services.
HUMAN RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT
Purpose: To provide effective and efficient human resources support services and promote sound labour relations.
- Manage Training and Skills Development
- Facilitate and coordinate internship, learnership, apprenticeship and Adult Education Training
- Develop individual performance management framework plan
